NEW ROLE, NEW PROJECT : I AM BAI NIYAW

I am back on set ( and writing! πŸ˜€) Kilig naman!

There’s always that mix of nerves and excitement whenever a new project comes in and this one feels extra special. I’m so happy to share that I’m part of The Silenced Kris, a film by my good friend, Direk Alan Filoteo, that brings to light stories rooted in culture, history, and voices that deserve to be heard.

This time… I am Bai Niyaw.

She is the first wife of Datu Vishaya Ashaya —a woman whose strength, presence, and story I am both honored and challenged to portray. Stepping into her character is a journey in itself, and I’m excited to discover more of who she is along the way.

I’m also truly honored to be working alongside incredible professional actors from the industry—Rob Sy, Jun Nayra, Jess Mendoza, and Hasna Cabral—all of whom have been part of various notable film and TV projects. Being in the same space with them is both inspiring and humbling.

Another step in my filmmaking journey, and definitely one I’ll hold close to my heart. Here’s to new roles, new stories, and becoming someone else! Lakas maka-feeling legit na artista talaga!
