Jollibee and DreamWorks team up for global ‘Forgotten Island’ campaign celebrating friendship and Filipino culture

Friendship, family, Filipino stories (and a little Jollibee joy !) come together in this exciting new global collaboration.

What happens when two best friends stumble upon a magical island inspired by Filipino mythology? You get an adventure filled with friendship, family, mythical creatures, and a whole lot of heart.

And now, Filipinos get to experience a little piece of that magic not just on the big screen, but through one of the country's most beloved brands.

Jollibee and DreamWorks Animation have teamed up for the worldwide theatrical release of Forgotten Island, a new original animated film inspired by Filipino mythology and the stories passed down through Filipino families.

DreamWorks Animation—behind global favorites like Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Wild Robot—brings us to Nakali, a mysterious magical island inhabited by mythical creatures inspired by Filipino stories.

At the center of the adventure are lifelong best friends Jo and Raissa, voiced by Grammy and Academy Award winner H.E.R. and Filipino actress Liza Soberano.

The catch? Going home could mean losing their memories of each other.

With the help of a colorful group of allies, the two friends must navigate Nakali, face its challenges, and find a way to protect the friendship that means everything to them.

And yes, this is one animated adventure that comes with some serious Filipino star power.

The international voice cast includes Dave Franco, Lea Salonga, Jenny Slate, Manny Jacinto, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, and Ronny Chieng—bringing together global talent and Filipino voices in a story deeply inspired by Filipino culture and mythology.
