One with Marawi: SM Supermalls in Mindanao unite in relief ops

In an effort to help people who are affected in the Marawi crisis, SM Foundation Inc. (SMFI) is activating Operation Tulong Express (OPTE) booths in Mindanao malls in partnership with local partners.
The donation drive is a way to encourage mall shoppers and tenants to share their blessings by sending relief assistance to affected communities who were recently displaced.

The donation booth in SM City General Santos is located at the Ground Floor, Mall Atrium fronting the Supermarket. In SM City Davao, the booth is open in the ground floor of the main mall near Ideal Vision. SM Lanang Premier’s booth is in the lower ground floor near the elevator.

The OPTE booth in SM CDO Downtown Premier is located in the ground floor near the SM Supermarket; while SM City Cagayan de Oro’s is in near the Entrance 3 Gallery (between the SM Store and SM Supermarket.

Interested donors may visit any of the booths to give cash or relief goods in kind: halal food, bottled water, blankets, clothing, toiletries, diapers, and medicine or first aid kits.

All mall collections will be turned over to local partners: Mindanao Development Authority and Philippine Red Cross. (PR)
