Today I celebrated Valentine’s Day with the Gensan Doctors Hospital, Inc. as they inaugurated their Women’s Center at the GSDH Cancer Center Building ! This would be the first dedicated women’s center in Region 12 : a groundbreaking facility designed to provide comprehensive healthcare services tailored to the needs of women at every stage of life. As a woman in my prime, I know how important it is to take care of our health—physically, mentally, and emotionally. This new center is truly a gift to us all. 

The state-of-the-art center features a 50° wide-angle Tomosynthesis Mammogram Mammomat . This upgraded machine offers a more detailed and precise 3D image, reducing false positives and improving early detection. It’s faster, safer, and provides clearer results to help us stay ahead of any health concerns- a game changer , what more can I say!

 Aside from mammograms, the Women’s Center also offers these essential services:

Breast Ultrasound

  Colposcopy

  Pap Smear and

Thermal Ablation 

"At the GSDH Women's Center, we are building a future where women can receive care they deserve and doctors have the resources and environment to provide it with excellence, " said Dr. Myra Joy G. Maduramente, a gyne-oncologist, and advocate of women's health.

In addition to medical service, it's nice to know that the center will also be hosting wellness programs, health education seminars and community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about key health issues affecting women.  

As a woman, I am grateful to GSDH for creating a space that caters to our specific needs , ensuring we have the best care available. Let’s prioritize our health, ladies—because when we feel our best, we can live our best!
