A DAY IN MY LIFE: Renewing Commitment with the GSC Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development

Oath-taking of the newly elected GSCAGPTD officers, administered by OIC City Director Ariel Acala.

There are appointments that simply add another line to your résumé, and then there are those that remind you why you chose to serve in the first place.

Today was one of those meaningful days.

I officially renewed my commitment as a member of the General Santos City Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development. Even more humbling was the trust once again bestowed upon me by my fellow members as they elected me to serve as Secretary for a second consecutive term.

Renewal of Commitment as member of the City Advisory Groupfor Police Transformation and Development

To say that I am grateful would be an understatement.

Serving in this advisory group has allowed me to witness firsthand the importance of collaboration between the community and our law enforcement agencies. Police transformation is not solely about improving systems and procedures but also about building trust, encouraging accountability, strengthening partnerships, and creating safer communities where everyone has a role to play.

Being re-elected tells me that my colleagues value not only the work I have done but also the commitment I bring to the table. For that, I am sincerely thankful.

As I begin another term, I do so with renewed purpose and a grateful heart. I look forward to listening more, learning continuously, and working alongside dedicated public servants and fellow advisers who share the same vision of a safer, stronger, and more resilient General Santos City.

Here's to another chapter of meaningful service and to the quiet work that helps create lasting change. I pray that I may continue to serve with integrity, diligence, and humility.
