It's always a good day to sleep for our Miniature Pinscher named "LIIT". Sleep has never been a problem to him.

He can doze off atop your soft pillow,

Or hide beneath your comfy quilt,

A number of zzzzzzzz's after a case review

or catch a good nap while you do the crap

But one thing is for sure,

our "LIIT" will sleep his way

to where your heart is.

The Bag Attack

People would always throw me that  "What-in-the-hell-is-in-your-bag" look whenever I ask them to pass my bag over to me.  I  always respond with  a silly smile and am always ready to answer , "may kaldero jan!"

Sometimes, I also muse on why I always carry a heavy bag and there are  instances where I would  try to take some items out to lessen the weight. Needless to say, I never succeeded! I can't seem to find an item that I would be comfortable leaving behind...:)

The following pictures should give you an idea how loaded my bag is. Lez do some bag attack!

  • I got pens. Lotsa pen : white board pens, permanent pentel pens, ball pens, sharpie, highlighter, sign pens.

  • Intestines! ---err, cables and wires, power banks , extra batts and earphones. Surely you will agree with me when I say I just NEED to have em on my bag. Yeah?

  • All sorts of cards. Well, one needs to earn  points or keep a calling card handy for a fishbowl raffle. Teehee!

  • Pouches! 'Nuff to keep all sorts of papers: Certificates---GCs and an MC, class cards, receipts, notes and what nuts.
Oh, and it has to be "RED".

  • A Wallet and a checkbook. Minsan may laman, madalas ay magaan (dahil walang laman! Agaaaayyy!)

  • I always have a feat with them trike drivers and mall cashiers over loose change. So there! Barya lang po sa umaga, kahit sa gabi pa!

  • My ever dependable cute, little umby, royal blue fan, sussy (keys, lots of em), nail cutter, stapler and wire (opcors)

  • A little vanity. Im happy just having my cologne, pang-mayaman na lotion from Orman, pressed powder, lipistik and alcohol ( arte lang?)

  • And how can I forget, a daily dose of thy vitamin C-Coffee!

With that, I bet you would ask me, will all of it fit inside my bag? Oh yeah! Sumakay ka pa!

How about you?
Are you ready for a #BagAttack?

Goya Ganda

Meet Goya Ganda,
our little dog from China!

She was just a month old when I got her as a gift. I had to put her in a blue paper bag when we went home from "China" and hushed her while we were in the trike. " Keep still, little one, otherwise I cannot smuggle you inside the mall!" Hahahaha! Had to meet some friends in a coffee shop on my way home that day, and besides, i needed to get her some milk, so!

This cute, lazy but pretty little thingy had us worried on her first day at home. We were all surprised when she started dragging her hind legs to move around the house.  She would make sea lion moves to go from one place to another. The poor thing is "pilay" oh no! Kawawa!

The Sea Lion Pup

I asked the former owner about her condition. I was afraid baka napilayan xa when I placed her inside the paper bag! Gosh! Guilt started to crawl over me...

We were informed that the "lame-leg" episode is but a normal condition among the pup's furmily. Even the mommy dog and daddy dog went through the same stage daw. The feeling sea lion stage. It was a relief to know that in 3-4 months, this breed can actually stand, walk and run on all fours.

We patiently fed her with milk , massaged her legs everyday and brought her to short walks so she can develop strength and endurance, especially the hind legs.

At night, she would snuggle up Mama Bear for a good night's sleep.

Day after another, we would do the same routine. And thanks goodness, our patience paid off! Everyone in the house would scream with excitement every time we see our pretty pup either standing or walking a short distance...ON ALL FOURS! Yey!

Look ma, i can do it!
Kinda limpy tho' but I can do it!

And because we were traumatized when we lost our spotty puppy named "Cheeky"  to parvo virus, we made sure to get our Goya Ganda her dose of shots.

Today, we are happy to note Goya's daily milestones. One day, we're gonna run, run, run!

The Prince Has Arrived

Meet "Baby Bruno"
Our beloved Miniature Pinscher.
The Little Big One in the house.

April 24, 2014.
Everyone is excited.
Baby Bruno is finally coming home!
We're having our very own Minpin from Sir Orman!

Our hearts melted when we saw the cute little creature.Lahat nag-uunahang kargahin, kausapin, kalikutin na animo laruan ang munting tuta! What are we calling him? There goes the question.  But I already gave him a name, and its Baby Bruno!

Okay! I can hear violent reactions now. "He wont forever be a baby! Besides, Tito Daque already called him Booger!" Fine! So let's think of other names.

Since the poor guy is so tiny, we all agreed to call him Little. My children  however found it rather "sosyal" sounding. They dont want doggie names like Prada, Sky , Ice....they want kalsada sounding- masa/maton sounding ones instead. Like BOGGART! And so "Little" became "Lee Eat". Again, there was a call to change the seemingly "sosyally-spelled" name until it became:

" LIIT "

Our tiny, shy and adorable Minpin. During his first few days at home, Liit would hide from the world, sneaking under the tables or behind the shoe rack. One day, when the youngest son left Papa Bear on the floor, the doggie slowly crawled towards the furry toy and buried his face on its legs. Ah! This marks the spot!

Liit has brought so much joy to our  home. He has developed a certain kind of closeness to my children, especially to the youngest one, Miles Alexander.

Every time the son comes home from school, its Liit he would be looking for before anyone else. They would spend time playing throw and fetch or lie down on the floor to watch TV together.

Every body loves Liit. Poppy would patiently cook mashed squash for him when he was still a baby. His food and vanity  had become part of the budget. Ugh!

Ate would bathe him on weekends. And during the night, before we turn the lights off, somebody would scoop him up and bring him to bed.

The little guy has owned a big place in our hearts.

The Prince has arrived.
