Gensan Celebrates Social Media Day

Members & friends of the Google Business Group Gensan  & Sox Bloggers met up on June 30, 2013  to celebrate the Social Media Day in Blugre SM Gensan.  It was one fun-food-and-freebies-filled day courtesy of  Google and SMART Communications.

Since I got anatomized, I've  always been very enthusiastic about attending meetups. Aside from the activities being full of information, its also full of food! Teehee! And you get to meet new friends.

And you get to REALLY enjoy learning more & more of the Google Products and the social media and the responsibilities & opportunities that come with the use of it. So when GBG Gensan Community Manager Avel Manansala asked me about my GBG experience and what I can say about Google Products, here's what I have shared:

  • As a member of the academe, I  appreciate how Google Drive has become such a convenience ! I have required my kiddos to have a G-mail account so we can all engage in  paper-less activities.
  • I'm still exploring Google + but I love how it looks. Personally, I kinda feel its getting me +1 level up! uhm....what's the word? Parang its more sophisticated out here---hihihi! Yung tipong mahihiya kang mag-trash talk?
As Ateneo Teacher KEVIN OLMEDO said during the SMDay, Social Media is here to stay, and So am I, here to learn (more!).

Willing to CONNECT, INFORM & INSPIRE in my own little way.

Happy Social Media Day!
